Native American Hand Forged Custom Hunter Roach Belly Trade Knife, Survival Camp Hunting Skinning for large game Heavy duty sheath
The Hudson's Bay Custom Hunter Knife is the largest of the Trade knives. It has a heavier, Full Tang, thicker blade well-suited for heavier camp and wilderness tasks such as chopping and shelter building, and would also do well as a butcher knife for larger game. The ample belly on the blade (hence the name) also makes it ideal for skinning larger game.
Below are the detailed measurements of this knife. One important note: for best comfort and grip, the length of your middle finger should be similar to the circumference of the handle.
We are proud to supply high quality and these graceful knives are just that! Hand-forged from high carbon, 1095 steel and they are fitted with dark stained curly maple handles and given a durable oil finish for a nice, antique patina. And Knife each comes with a welted heavy leather sheath. Simply put, these knives just feel good in your hand and are American made.
The classic lines are patterned after original 19th century blades and the thick, curly maple scales are secured to the heavy, wide blade with 6 brass pins. Complete with its custom heavy leather sheath, it's a real workhorse!

This is not a native made item it’s made by a white man in Washington. The quality was trash and rebranding someone else’s work to sell it as such is awful. The scales on the knife were uneven and the sharpening is bad. At least the steel quality was okay.
